微软将于7月22日关闭旗下直播平台Mixer，并与Facebook合作，推动其用户使用Facebook游戏服务。

微软与2016年买下Beam将其更名为Mixer，并整合进Xbox平台，希望吸引付费用户观看电子游戏竞技直播。微软曾在Mixer上投入大精力运营，包括签下“Ninja”和“Shroud”等一些电子竞技巨星的播放版权。但始终无法与亚马逊旗下的Twitch和Larry Page旗下的Youtube展开竞争。

Microsoft bought beam in 2016, renamed it mixer, and integrated it into the Xbox platform, hoping to attract paid users to watch live video games. Microsoft has invested a lot of energy in the operation of mixer, including signing the broadcasting rights of some E-sports stars such as "Ninja" and "crowd".
